I make jewellery from hand-dyed plastic. My aim is to create something beautiful from this ordinary material and give it a new sense of worth. My pieces have a precious quality that glow with colour.

I hand-dye and slice the plastic into richly coloured shards, combining them with textured silver fragments to create unique items, each piece entirely made by hand.

I have a studio and shop in the Manchester Craft and Design Centre where I sell work by other makers as well as my own. `Located in Manchester city centre's Northern Quarter, Manchester Craft and Design Centre is at the hub of a growing innovative and artistic community. It is one of the few places in the UK open to the public where contemporary craft is individually produced and sold on the premises. The Centre houses two floors of studios ranging from jewellery, ceramics and textiles to furniture and clothing design.'
